Normally a bibliography comes at the end of a piece of work but in this case I'm adding mine long before I get this site finished so that visitors can see some of the books that are available about Kent - and so that I can keep track of my own small library. Because of its rich history there are hundreds of books published about this County and the listings here only represent a small proportion of those offerings. Many of the books listed here are already out of print and may only be published through second-hand bookshops.

Please do not write to me to request photocopies of these books or "look-ups" as I regret I just do not have the time to do this.
I'm actually running out of room for more books but if anyone has any old Kent books that they want to donate they can always contact me. Things like Hasted's History of Kent or Dart's Memorials would be good! Thanks.
