Canterbury
Cathedral
Pictures available for downloading.
| The majority of pictures
on this site about Canterbury Cathedral and East Kent are unavailable
for downloading because I don't want them used on other sources and web
sites. It costs me a lot of time and money, particularly in equipment,
to take all of these images and I do provide a service
for family historians to take pictures of the Towns or Villages where
their ancestors might have resided for a small fee which is used to assist
with the upkeep of this site. I make no profit from this service. However, I know from receiving e-mails, some very polite requests and others that are totally abusive (I blame the parents!), that some students might need the odd picture or two of the Cathedral to assist in completing school or college homework projects. Therefore, I am including a few basic pictures below which are available for downloading for personal use only. They are still copyright and are not to be used to place on other Internet sites or to be published in any form without my consent. To copy the pictures, right click on your mouse over the picture and then go to "Save image (or picture) as.....". The downloaded pictures will be approximately four times larger than they appear on this page. Because of an agreement with The Dean and Chapter of Canterbury Cathedral no interior pictures can be made available. |
