THE REGIMENTAL ASSOCIATION OF THE QUEENS OWN BUFFS
CANTERBURY BRANCH

The Association exists to continue the comradeship of those who served in The Buffs and the regiments which were amalgamated, in the 1960s, to form the present day Princess of Wales Royal Regiment. Three Reunions are held every year which are very well attended and there is an active Social programme at each branch. Canterbury Branch has a monthly meeting, attended by 50 or more members, at the Chaucer Club, Military Road, Canterbury, on the last Thursday in every month at 8.00 p.m. (This information may also be out of date)

If you served as a Regular Soldier, National Serviceman, or Territorial in the following regiments you are eligible for Life Membership for a one-off payment of £2.00:

        • The Buffs
        • The Queens Own Buffs
        • The Royal West Kent Regiment
        • The Royal Sussex Regiment
        • The East Surrey Regiment
        • The Hampshire Regiment
        • The Queens Regiment
        • The Middlesex Regiment

The Regimental Association did have it's own official web site
but it seems to have been closed down. I will post details if I find any.
